Our first New Year's Eve in our new venue, St Martin's Church in Bowness-on-Windermere, was most enjoyable, and raised £160 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. And the Jacob's Join supper was exceptional!
Choral Workshop Day - Will Todd's "Mass in Blue"

Those who attended the Choral Workshop Day learning Will Todd's Mass in Blue will agree that we had a wonderful day, with the composer at the piano, Ralph Woodward conducting, and Bethany Halliday taking the soprano solo, with Gareth Huw Davies (double bass) and Jim Fleeman (drums). Notes that looked so complicated on the page turned out to be easier to sing - but not MUCH easier! Around 100 singers took part, from as far apart as Wiltshire and North Cumbria.
