How does CFC pay for its projects?

We're a registered charity with ambitious projects. Given the scale of our events, gaining funding is essential. We currently pay for our projects using a variety of methods: by seeking funds from local and national arts organisations such as the Westmorland Arts Trust, the National Foundation for Youth Music, Making Music and Arts North West, as well as:
  • by bidding for local finance from South Lakeland District Council and Kendal Neighbourhood Forum
  • by asking participating singers to contribute
  • by inviting local businesses to support these community projects
  • by pricing tickets at an affordable level in order to attract large audiences

How you can help

If you're interested in what we do and would like to be involved in our projects you can support us by:
  • coming along to our concerts and encouraging all your friends to come along too;
  • sponsoring our projects financially;
  • recommending us to others who might sponsor our projects;
  • and of course, singing with us!
